Basant Vegeterian

I've been working at the MK 4 Complex on Dalhousie Road for quite some time now. Our place, Basant Vegeterian, is just a short walk from the Shani Dev Mandir. It’s a busy part of Pathankot, and we see a lot of people passing through every day. I usually start my morning by checking the vegetables that come in from the market. We don't do anything fancy here, just plain vegetarian food for the locals and travelers. The shop has some old fans that hum a bit too loud when it gets hot, but they keep the air moving. Most of our customers are regulars who live around here or people visiting the temple. We have some tables and chairs, nothing expensive, just sturdy enough to sit and eat. I spend most of my day behind the counter or helping out in the small kitchen. It gets pretty dusty outside with all the traffic on Dalhousie Road, so we are always wiping down the tables. We don’t have a big fancy menu, just the usual dishes people like to eat for lunch or dinner. It's a simple life running a food spot in this town. We open up early and stay until the evening rush dies down. There isn't any big secret to what we do, we just provide a place to sit and have a meal without any fuss or expensive prices. It's just how things are around here every day.
