Our office, Squarearc Constructions, is located at 5/996, Sukumaramandiram, right along the M.C Road in Adoor. Being on such a main road means there is always noise and movement, which fits the way we work. Pathanamthitta is where we do most of our projects. Construction is one of those jobs where you think you have a plan for the day, and then something completely different happens. We might spend the morning worrying about a plumbing issue and the afternoon trying to find a specific type of tile that a client wants. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office at Sukumaramandiram and the various sites we have going on. We are a small group, so we don't have layers of management. If something needs to be decided, we just talk it out and do it. We’ve had our share of long nights and stressful deadlines, but that’s part of the trade. The walls of our office are usually pinned with various sketches and notes about different jobs. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where the real work gets planned. We’ve been in Adoor for a long time and we know the local suppliers and workers well. We just try to build things that are solid and do it in a way that makes sense for the people living here in Kerala. It is hard work, but we are used to the grind of it by now.
