Perumbalathu Stores

We have been operating Perumbalathu Stores out of the Marygiri Shopping Complex for a good number of years. Our spot is 89/45, right in the heart of Kurishukavala, very close to the BSNL office. Thiruvalla can get quite hectic, and this complex is no different with people always running errands. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with shelves stretching up to the ceiling. We keep all sorts of things, mostly items that people in the neighborhood need for their homes. I usually get here in the morning and stay until late evening. The light in the back of the store is a bit dim, but I know where every single item is kept even if it looks like a mess to someone else. Sometimes it’s quiet and I can read the paper, but then three people will walk in at once asking for different things. Being near the BSNL office means we get a lot of people passing by who just need something quickly before they go to pay their bills. The Marygiri complex is an old building, so it has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the humidity. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just me and the stock, trying to make sure the locals have a place to get their supplies without having to go too far. It's just a simple shop run by regular people.
