Nakkada Mission Hospital

Nakkada Mission Hospital has been sitting here in Pathanamthitta for quite some time. It’s a place that people know well, mostly because we’ve been around through so many changes in the town. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern hospital around. We just provide basic, honest healthcare to whoever needs it. The building itself is older, and you can see the history in the hallways. We have nurses who have worked here for decades and they know most of the families in Pathanamthitta by name. It’s a mission hospital, so the focus is really on just getting people healthy again without making a big deal out of it. We see a lot of older folks who have been coming here since they were young. The wards are simple and the garden outside is a bit overgrown, but it’s a peaceful spot. We deal with everything from minor injuries to regular checkups. Sometimes things get a bit slow, and other times we are scrambling to find an extra bed. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy websites. We just stay open and do the work that needs doing. It’s a quiet kind of life here in Pathanamthitta, and we are just happy to be a part of it. The rain usually hits hard around here, but the roof holds up and we keep the lights on for the patients.
