We are based out of Eraviperoor, running things from the Peedikayil house. It’s a quiet part of Pathanamthitta, not like the big city offices you see in magazines. T O Thomas looks after things here. We do infra work, mostly staying busy with whatever project is currently on the schedule. Since we’re in a residential area, it feels more like a home office than a corporate building. There’s a lot of greenery around here, which is nice when the work gets stressful or we have a lot of paperwork to finish. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. People usually just call or stop by when they need to discuss something about the construction work. It’s a straightforward operation. We use the space we have to manage the accounts and coordinate with the guys on the ground. Sometimes the weather in Kerala makes the work difficult, especially during the long monsoon season, but we manage. We’ve been part of the community here for a while now. Most people know the Thekkumthala name in these parts. We aren't trying to be something we're not. It’s just us doing the job day in and day out. Pathanamthitta-689542 is the pin if anyone’s sending mail or invoices. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, but we like the peace here. We keep the files in the back room and spend most of our time on the phone or out at sites.
