Kakkudiyil Dental Clinic & Implant Center

Our clinic is inside the Nellimmoottil Buildings in Kumbanad. It’s a familiar spot for people around here. We’ve been running the dental practice and the implant center for some time now. When you walk in, you’ll see the waiting chairs lined up against the wall. We keep some old magazines there, though nobody really reads them anymore. They just look at their phones while they wait. The smell of the clinic is something you get used to—that sharp, clean scent of disinfectant and dental materials. We spend our mornings setting up the trays and making sure the lights are working right. Kumbanad is a small place, so we often see the same faces. You see someone at the grocery store and then they are in your chair the next day asking about a toothache. It’s funny how that works in a town like this. The building itself is sturdy. We have a few windows that let in the light, which is nice when you are working on something detailed like an implant. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we have to wait for the backup to kick in. It’s just part of living and working here. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just open the doors, see who needs help with their teeth, and do our best to get them sorted out. It’s a steady job and we like the people who come through. It feels like home after all these years.
