Cristuraj Driving School

We run Cristuraj Driving School out here in Venmony. It’s a small village area in Alappuzha, specifically around the 689509 pincode. We have a couple of older cars that we use for the lessons. They aren't the newest models, but they are reliable and good for learning the clutch. Most of our time is spent out on the local roads, showing people how to handle the turns and the narrow lanes. It’s a slow process. We don't have a big office. It’s mostly just a desk where we keep the forms and the schedules. People from Venmoney know us because they see the cars with the 'L' stickers driving past their houses every day. The gearboxes are a bit stiff sometimes, but that’s actually better for the students to learn on. If you can drive these, you can drive anything. We don’t have any fancy simulators or computer programs. We just get in the car and start the engine. It’s practical work. Sometimes we sit under the shade of a tree to explain the signs before we head out. The weather here can be tricky, so we do a lot of driving in the rain too. It’s just how it is in this part of Alappuzha. We've helped a lot of folks from the nearby houses get their papers sorted over the years. We just keep the engines running and hope the traffic stays light for the new drivers.
