Sai Computer Classes Foundation

Sai Computer Classes Foundation is up on the second floor of Shrikunj Plaza, right across from the 132KW substation in Patan. If you know the substation, you can’t miss the plaza. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street, which is usually full of bikes and people going about their business. The office is pretty basic, filled with rows of computers for the classes. It’s a foundation, so we don't go for anything lavish. The floor is just standard tiling and the walls have some basic charts on them. Patan is an old town with a lot of history, but our corner is just a regular commercial spot. We spend the whole day showing people how to use software or fixing minor hardware issues. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we do. The noise from the substation and the road can be a bit constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We are just the folks you’ll find in room 128 when you walk up the stairs. The 132KW station is a good way to tell people where we are. It is just a practical place for people in the village and taluka of Patan to learn some computer basics.
