M L I D S

M L I D S is located inside the Best Cutlery Store in Hinglachachar, Patan. It is a bit of a tight squeeze because the store is already full of knives, spoons, and all sorts of kitchenware. We have a small corner designated for our work. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing for people walking in because they see the cutlery first and wonder if they are in the right place. Patan is a historical place, and this part of town has a lot of old shops like ours. The shelves are packed with boxes, and I have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The lighting is not great, so we use a couple of desk lamps to see what we are doing. It is a family-run kind of setup. My uncle handles the cutlery side of things while I look after the M L I D S part. We share a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. The street outside is narrow and usually full of cows and scooters. There is always a smell of incense coming from the temple nearby. We do not have any air conditioning, just a small table fan that squeaks every time it turns. It is a humble way to earn a living, but we have been here for a long time and the locals know us. We just keep things simple and work through the pile of orders that come in every morning. It is a busy spot but we manage to stay organized enough.
