Govt. Secondary School

This is the Govt. Secondary School over in Patan Ho, Patan-Gujarat. Our pin code is 384265. Being a government school, we don't have many frills. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Gujarat. It’s got thick walls and big windows that let in the breeze. We have a lot of students from the surrounding neighborhoods. The desks are a bit worn down, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the roof is solid. We have a big open space where we do the morning assembly. It gets quite hot in Patan during the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done early. The staff here are all government employees, just doing their jobs. We don't have a marketing budget or any fancy brochures to hand out. People come here because it's the local school. We follow the standard curriculum and try to keep things organized despite the large number of kids. The office is always busy with parents bringing in forms and certificates. It’s a noisy, lively place most days. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the kids have their books and a place to sit. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s ours and it serves the town well enough. We have been here for decades, and most of the parents went to this same school when they were children themselves.
