Sunrise

Sunrise is located at 339 and 341 in GIDC Phase-2, Dediyasan. Being in the GIDC means we're surrounded by all kinds of factories. Our building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it does the job. We don’t have a massive sign out front, just the numbers on the wall. Inside, it’s mostly workspace. We do a bit of everything here, depending on what the day brings. Usually, it's about making sure the machines are running and the workers have what they need. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours, so we have to shout over the noise sometimes. We have a small break room where we keep a stove for making tea. That’s where most of the decisions get made, over a hot cup. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. If a customer calls, they talk to the same person every time. We've been in Dediyasan for a good while now and know most of the other shop owners on the block. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We keep our doors open to let the air circulate, especially in the summer heat. It’s a basic setup, but we’ve got everything we need to keep the wheels turning day after day. We like the routine and the honest work we do here.
