Rrk Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is located in a place called Gohalbaria, which is near Bantul in the Baghnan region. It is quite a journey to get out here if you are coming from the main city. We are situated in a rural patch where things are much slower than the urban centers. The post office at Bantul is our main reference point for mail and deliveries. The workshop is surrounded by a bit of greenery, which is nice when you take a break. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a simple gate. Inside, we have the machinery set up for our engineering tasks. It’s a quiet life here most of the time, except for the noise of the machines when we are in the middle of a project. Most of our staff live in the nearby villages and walk to work or come on bicycles. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code; people just wear what is comfortable for manual work. The power can be a bit unreliable sometimes, especially during the stormy season, but we make do with what we have. It’s a very grounded way of working. We focus on the quality of the parts we produce rather than how the office looks. There’s a local shop where we get our morning tea and biscuits. It’s a simple existence, but we take pride in what we build here in Baghnan.
