Humosys Technologies is based right on the STEP IIT Kharagpur campus. Being in Kharagpur, Midnapore, gives us a very specific kind of environment. The pincode is 721302. If you have ever been to the IIT campus, you know it is huge and full of people studying or researching. We are part of the STEP program there, so we have a small corner where we do our tech work. It is an academic atmosphere, which means it is usually pretty quiet and focused. We spend a lot of time around books and computers. The campus has a lot of trees and space, which is a big change from the crowded streets of the bigger cities. We are just a group of tech-minded people who like being close to where the learning happens. Our office is functional. We have got the equipment we need and not much else. There are no fancy lounges or anything. We usually eat at the local canteens or get something quick nearby. Most of our day is spent looking at data or writing scripts. We have been here for some time and it is a good place to stay grounded. People come and go, mostly students and researchers, and we just keep our heads down and do our work. It is a plain, practical setup for a company that just wants to get things done without any extra fuss or corporate nonsense.
