About Srihari Global School – Education in Paschim Bardhaman
The Sentram Building in Shrishti Nagar is where we spend our days at Srihari Global School. If you know Asansol, you know this area is starting to get pretty busy. Our school is just one part of that growth. It’s a solid building, nothing too flashy, but it does the job for us. We spend a lot of time walking up and down the stairs because the elevators can be slow when everyone is trying to use them at once. The area around Shrishti Nagar is always changing, with new shops and more traffic than there used to be even a couple of years ago. The classrooms look out over the neighborhood, and you can see the city changing bit by bit every month. We’ve got a mix of people working here. Some are local to Asansol and others travel a bit to get to Shrishti Nagar. Mornings are a rush of uniforms and heavy bags. We try to keep the noise down in the Sentram Building hallways, but that’s easier said than done. Most of the work involves sitting at desks, writing on boards, and checking notebooks. It’s not glamorous. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really humid outside, and we all just have to deal with it. We have a routine that we stick to, from the first bell to the last. There isn't much to say beyond that. We show up, we do our classes, and we make sure the place is locked up tight before we head home for the evening.
