Chidren Academy English Medium School

Located in the Kajoragram area near the Real Kajora Colliery, our school is right in the heart of the mining belt of Asansol. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of all the activity around the coal mines, but we try to keep the school grounds as clean as possible. We teach in English here, which is something the local parents really wanted for their kids. The school itself isn't a massive complex. It’s a collection of rooms where students from the nearby colliery quarters come to learn. You can often hear the heavy trucks passing by on the main road while we are in the middle of a lesson. We have a small staff of teachers who live nearby. They work hard to keep the students focused, even when it’s noisy outside. We have a few computers and some maps on the walls, but it’s a fairly basic setup. The kids wear their uniforms with pride, even if they get a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big sports field, but we make do with what we have. It’s a practical school for a practical town. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the children understand their subjects. Chidren Academy English Medium School is just a small part of this busy industrial community in Kajoragram.
