Late. Bajirao Deshmukh Jr. College is located out in Shelgaon Mahavishnu. It’s a quiet spot in the Parbhani district, and honestly, life moves a bit slower here than in the bigger cities. Most of our students come from the nearby farms and small houses around the 431516 area. We have been working out of this building for years, and it's become a familiar sight for anyone passing through. The rooms are basic, just enough space for the desks and the blackboards. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, but the teachers just keep talking and the students keep writing. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don't have a big reception desk or a shiny lobby. Usually, if someone needs something, they just walk into the main office and ask whoever is sitting there. The courtyard gets a lot of use during the afternoon break when everyone wants a bit of sun or some fresh air. We handle the junior college classes, so the kids are a bit older and starting to think about what they will do next in life. There is a lot of talk about exams and future jobs in the hallways. It’s just a normal school where people work hard and try to make do with what they have. We are glad to be part of the community here in Parbhani and keep things going year after year without any fuss.
