Him International School

Him International School is tucked away in Jolang right near Daath Village here in Itanagar. It is a quiet spot most of the time except when the kids are out playing in the yard. The air is decent up here compared to the city center. We have the standard classrooms and some outdoor space for the students. Being in a place like Jolang you get used to the slower pace of life. The zip code is 791111 if you are trying to find us. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a place for learning. The staff mostly comes from around the area so we all know each other and the parents. Most mornings start with checking the bus or seeing which students walked in late. It can be a bit of a trek to get up here but we like the view of the hills from the windows. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy on the paths but we just clean it up and keep going. We have got the usual desks and some maps on the walls and a lot of books that have been used many times. It is not a glossy magazine kind of place. It is just a school in the village. We focus on the kids getting through their exams and maybe having a bit of fun. If you are passing through Itanagar you will find us out in Jolang. We just stay busy with the classes all day long.
