Kalda Pathar Mahila Kisan Samriddhi Producer Company Limited

So, we are over here in Panna district, right in the Saleha tehsil area. The company is called Kalda Pathar Mahila Kisan Samriddhi Producer Company Limited. It sounds like a big mouthful but really it is just a bunch of us local women farmers from the Kalda Gram Panchayat. We use the Sarpanch office area as a meeting point quite a bit because that is where things happen in our village. Farming is tough work in these parts. We decided to get together because doing everything alone was getting too hard and we weren't getting good prices for our crops. We mostly deal with the stuff we grow right here in our fields. Sometimes we have meetings to talk about what seeds to buy or how to fix the old equipment we share. It isn't a fancy office with computers and stuff. Most of the time we are out in the sun or under a tree talking about the weather. We hope that by staying together as a group we can help our families a bit more. There is always something to do, whether it is weeding or trying to find someone to buy the harvest. We just take it day by day. The name says Samriddhi because we want things to get better for our kids. It's just us, the women of the village, trying to make the most of what we have on this land. Nothing more to it really.
