Our office at Span Infocom Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of Lal Tanky Market in Model Town. If you’ve been to No. 8, you know how busy it gets. There’s always someone moving crates or a bike parked where it shouldn't be. It’s a lively place to work. You never feel isolated here. The market sounds come right through the walls, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't tucked away in some shiny tech park. We are right here where the people are. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment. We’ve thought about moving, but the location is too convenient for everyone. Getting lunch is easy since there are so many stalls just steps away. We spend our days handling various bits of info and communication stuff. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. The lighting isn't the best, so we brought in some extra lamps. It makes it feel a bit more like home. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually just jeans and shirts. Someone is always coming in or going out. It can be a bit chaotic on Mondays, but we manage to stay on top of things. We have a small desk for files that is always overflowing. It’s just a small team in a busy market, doing our bit every day.
