Nico Orgo Manures

We are located out in Village Umbarde, right near the bus stand. If you ask anyone near the Post Office in Panipat, they can point you toward us. We make organic manures here. It is a rural spot, so there are plenty of fields around and it is usually quieter than the city, except for when the buses pull in. The work involves a lot of mixing and bagging, and yes, it does have a certain smell to it, but you stop noticing that after the first week. We have a couple of sheds where we keep the stuff dry. It is mostly manual labor and we have a small team of local villagers who come in every morning. We do not have a big fancy entrance, just a gate that we leave open during the day. Sometimes a stray dog or two will wander in and sleep in the shade under the eaves. We do not have any big corporate goals; we just focus on making enough manure for the farmers who come to buy from us. It is a slow-paced life compared to the big towns, and we like it that way. We use old equipment that we fix ourselves when it breaks down. It is a basic operation but it has been here for years and serves the local folks well. We just take things one day at a time.
