L.R.K. College Of Distance Education

L.R.K. College Of Distance Education operates out of Vpo Bapoli which is a small tehsil near Panipat. We have a small office here where we handle all the paperwork for the students. Since it is distance education we don't have classrooms full of people every day. Most of our work is done through the mail or over the phone with people from all over the area. People from the nearby villages come in to drop off their forms or pick up their study materials. It is a very practical and low-key setup. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets filled with student records. The building is just a regular spot in the village area of Bapoli. It’s not a fancy college campus with grass and fountains like you see on TV. We just focus on getting the right books to the students so they can study at home. Sometimes the internet is slow which makes the digital work a bit frustrating but we manage somehow. The staff here are locals who understand the needs of people living in the Panipat district. We help them figure out which courses they need and how to fill out the exam applications correctly. It’s a lot of routine work but it helps people who can’t travel to a big city for school. We keep the doors open during regular hours and there is always someone around to answer questions about the programs we offer.
