Our shop is at 37 Kissan Bhawan on Assandh Road in Panipat. It’s right there in the Shiva Complex. We handle catering and also do the religious jagran setups. Panipat is a busy place and Assandh Road always has some traffic. We spend most of our mornings getting the vegetables and groceries ready for the catering side. The kitchen is always noisy. We’ve been at this spot for quite some years. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it and now we all help out. The name is a bit long but everyone around here just calls us for the jagrans. We have all the instruments and the sound system stored in the back. Sometimes the catering orders are small, just for a house party, and other times it’s for a huge gathering at a hall. We try to keep things moving. We don't use fancy advertisements at all. Most of our work comes because someone ate our food at a wedding or liked the singing at a jagran. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day and night. Shiva Complex is a good spot for us because people can find it easily. Sometimes we run out of space for all the big cooking pots and have to move things around. We just keep doing what we do every day. Dealing with local suppliers takes up a lot of time too. It's just a normal Panipat business trying to do honest work for the people.
