Murtuzajesawadawala

The name on the door is Murtuzajesawadawala and we are located right here in Ezzy Mohalla. This is part of the Burhani Bag area in Dahod, which is a place that feels very familiar to everyone who lives here. To get to us, you usually have to come down Ukardi Road and then find the turn for Godi Road. It’s a bit of a maze if you are new to Dahod, but once you find Ezzy Mohalla, anyone can point you to the right house. We’ve been in this spot for years. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home. I spend my mornings checking what needs to be done and then the rest of the day is just about finishing those chores. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there isn’t much formality. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day and talk to the neighbors over the balcony. The traffic on Godi Road can get noisy during the peak hours, but we are used to the sound of scooters and horns by now. There isn’t a big lobby or a receptionist waiting for you. You just walk in and we see what’s going on. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just honest work and trying to stay organized in a small town where everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway.
