Regal Foodstuff Industries

Regal Foodstuff Industries is out on Plot No. 18, Zalod Road in Kharod. Being located on Zalod Road means we have a lot of space, which is good because the machinery takes up quite a bit of room. We are mostly involved in processing different food items, so there is always some kind of smell in the air, usually something like toasted grain or spices depending on what we are running that day. The building is a large shed-like structure with high ceilings to keep the heat from getting too bad. It’s a dusty place because of the trucks coming in and out of the yard all day long. We have a small office section partitioned off near the front entrance where the paperwork gets handled. The furniture is just basic plastic chairs and some heavy desks. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just drivers and suppliers. The workers here are mostly locals from Kharod who walk or bike to the site. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the machines break down and we have to spend hours getting them back in order. We don't have any fancy signs or a big entrance gate. It’s just a place where we get the job done, day in and day out, making sure the bags are filled and loaded onto the trucks heading out of town.
