Our office is based out of a house in Panchkula, specifically House Number 1491 on the first floor of Sector 4. Even though we are physically in Panchkula, we end up doing a lot of work for people over in Chandigarh too. Working out of a house gives the place a much different feel than a commercial plaza. It’s a bit more relaxed, though we still keep a busy schedule. The first floor is where all the action happens. We have desks set up in the main rooms and lots of cabinets for our files. Thakral & Associates is a small team, so we all know what’s going on at any given time. You can hear the neighborhood sounds outside, which is a nice change from the city noise. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking with people who drop by. The stairs are right there when you come in. We’ve tried to make the space efficient for our daily tasks. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s just where we work. We handle various associate duties and stay busy with the local community. Sector 4 is a nice area, quite settled and easy to navigate. People usually find us without much trouble since the house numbers are clear. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a simple, practical way to run a business. We like the quiet here compared to the downtown markets.
