Shaleen Pharmaceutical

You can find us at No. 53 in Phase-1 of the Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their shifts. Shaleen Pharmaceutical has been here for a good while. The building is a typical industrial setup with high ceilings and a lot of metal ducting. We spend the day monitoring the machines and making sure the batches are coming out right. It’s not a very quiet environment, but you get used to the hum of the equipment after a few days. We have a small room for the staff to eat their lunch, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. We focus on the production side of things rather than the sales talk. Most of our work is about following the steps and not taking shortcuts. The floor gets cleaned twice a day, but it still feels like a factory. We have trucks coming in and out of the loading bay all afternoon. It can be stressful when a machine breaks down, but we usually fix it ourselves. We aren't a big multinational corporation, just a local outfit doing our part in the pharma supply chain. It’s hard work, but it keeps the lights on and the families fed.
