You’ll find us at number 237 in Sector 10. It’s a busy area with a lot of construction and making going on. We do two things mostly: moulding bricks and doing fabrication work. It’s a strange mix for some, but it works for us. The brick side of the business involves a lot of mud and waiting for the kilns to do their thing. The fabrication side is more about the sparks and the smell of cut metal. It’s a hard environment, very hot and very loud. My father started this a long time ago, and we’ve just kept it going. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. People just know we are here in the sector. We’ve got a good crew of guys who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. They show up, do the work, and we get the orders out the door. The yard is usually full of stacks of bricks waiting to be picked up. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have too many orders at once, but we always manage to sort it out. We don’t use any fancy software to run things. We just use a notebook and our own heads. It’s worked for us so far. Being in Sector 10 is convenient for the transport trucks, which is the main thing. We’re just a local business trying to make a decent product for the people who need it. It’s tough work but we enjoy the routine of it all.
