Amar Bricks Company

Amar Bricks Company is right here in Barwala village, not far from the bus stand. If you’re waiting for a bus, you can probably see our smoke or hear the tractors. We’ve been part of this community in the Ambala area for a long time. It’s a family-run sort of place, nothing too big or complicated. We wake up early to beat the heat, usually before the first bus rolls into the station. The yard is full of red bricks drying in rows. It’s hard work, especially during the monsoon when everything turns to mud. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know us by word of mouth in the district. Panchkula is growing, so we stay busy enough. The post office is just a short walk away, which is handy for mail. Our workers are mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We talk about the weather a lot because it dictates everything we do. If it rains, the kiln stays cold. If it’s sunny, we’re out there all day. It’s a simple cycle. Sometimes we sit by the road and watch the traffic go by toward the city. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company, just a steady one that provides for the folks around here. That's really all there is to tell about us. Just a brick field near the Barwala bus stand. We just keep on making bricks.
