Krishna Traders

Krishna Traders is located out in Village Barwala, right near National Highway 73. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you’re coming from the main city of Panchkula, but we like the space we have out here. Being near the highway means we see a lot of travelers, but our main work is with the people in the village and the nearby taluka. The shop is a basic structure, built for storage more than anything else. We handle a lot of different things, but tea is a big part of what we do. The air out here is a bit fresher than the city, though the trucks on the highway make a lot of noise. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown it out. The day starts early because the village wakes up with the sun. We spend time organizing the stock and talking to the local shopkeepers who come to buy from us. It’s a practical life. There’s no point in having fancy lights or displays when people just want to know if we have what they need in stock. We use old ledgers to keep track of everything because it’s easier than fiddling with a computer all day. Sometimes the rains make the road a bit messy, but we stay open regardless. It’s just about being there when people need to restock their kitchens or their market stalls.
