Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(Distributor)

Our place is right on Patel Road, just a short walk from the Hari Mandir. If you are in Ambala City, you have probably passed by 4609/3 without thinking much about it. We operate as a distributor for Hindustan Unilever Ltd, which basically means our day is full of unloading trucks and checking inventory. It is a noisy spot with all the crates moving around and the delivery vans coming and going. The building is old but sturdy, and we have got stacks of soap, tea, and other household stuff piled high near the entrance. It is not a fancy office at all. We have a small desk where the paperwork gets signed and a few plastic chairs for when the drivers take a break. The smell of different products always hangs in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. We start very early in the morning when the air is still cool because once the sun hits Patel Road, it gets quite hot in the warehouse. We know most of the shopkeepers around here since we see them every week for their regular orders. It is hard work, and our hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the shift. We do not use any complicated systems, just some ledgers and a basic computer to keep track of what is going out. It is a local business run by local people.
