We are based up in Panchkula, over in Haryana, right at number 72 on the first floor in Sector 2. It is a bit different from the chaos of Delhi or Bangalore. Sector 2 is a fairly organized area and it feels a bit more open. Our office is on the first floor, so you just have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to us. The space inside is pretty basic. We have some long tables where people sit with their laptops, and there are shelves along the walls filled with folders and old records. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though you can hear the occasional car or scooter passing by outside. We start our day early and usually have a bit of a routine going with the morning mail and checking the latest updates. The weather in Haryana can get really intense, so we are grateful for the shade the building provides. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or expensive furniture. It is just a workspace where we handle the requirements for Grant Thornton India. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, but usually, we wrap things up at a decent hour. It is a steady, honest kind of place to work and the locals are friendly enough. We have a small water cooler by the door that gets a lot of use.
