Govt Of Punjab

Our office is at 1425 in Sector 15, Panchkula. Even though we are in Haryana, we actually work for the Govt of Punjab. It’s a bit of a quirk of the geography here, but we’ve been at this address for a long time. The building is a standard house that’s been converted into an office space. It’s not a modern glass building like you see in the newer sectors. We have a few rooms that are now filled with metal cabinets and wooden desks. There’s a lot of paper moving through this place every day. We handle various administrative jobs that come our way from the Punjab side. It’s not a flashy environment. The paint is peeling in a few spots and the furniture is old. But everything works well enough for us. We have a small area in the back where we can sit and have some tea. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we have a set routine. We don't have a fancy reception or a PR team. If someone walks in, they usually just find one of us and ask what they need. Parking in Sector 15 can be tight during the day, so we have to be careful where we leave our scooters. It’s just a regular workplace where we get on with the government business without much fuss. We try to be helpful to anyone who stops by with a query about their paperwork.
