If you head over to P.O. Baska in the Halol area, that’s where you’ll find us. We are part of the Panchmahal district, which is a bit quieter than the big cities. Sree Venkateswara Agencies operates out of a simple building here. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds in the morning before the day really gets started. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a local presence that people know about. The office is mostly filled with invoices and ledgers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by. It’s a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything. One person might be doing the accounts while also helping unload a truck. We don't have titles that matter much; we just get the work finished. The weather gets very hot here during the summer, so we have a couple of big fans that hum all day long. We usually take a longish break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its peak. Most of us have lived in this district our whole lives, so we know all the shortcuts and the local news. It’s a steady way of life. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just run our agency, look after our customers, and make sure the business stays healthy for another year. It is honest work.
