Started out near the Modasa High Way a while back. It gets pretty loud with the trucks passing by sometimes, but we got used to it. The building isn’t anything fancy, just a regular place where kids from around Lunawada come to spend their day. Most mornings start with the sound of cycles pulling up and teachers trying to get the registers sorted. Panchmahal weather can be a bit much in the summer, though the fans inside help a little. We spend a lot of time just making sure the classrooms are ready and the blackboards are clean. There’s always some repair work to do, maybe a leaky tap or a broken desk that needs a look. It’s a busy spot here. People stop by to ask questions about admissions or just to say hello while they’re passing through. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together when there’s a break. It’s not a quiet life, but it’s what we do every day. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on. Sometimes they come back to visit and tell us what they’re doing now. The playground gets dusty when it hasn't rained in a while. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, making sure the gates are open on time and everyone’s where they should be. It’s just us here at the school, doing the work that needs doing.
