Gunjan High School

Gunjan High School is located in Kalol, which is in the Panchmahal district. It’s a place that stays pretty busy throughout the year. The school itself is tucked away on a street that gets quite crowded during the morning drop-off times. We have a decent-sized building with several floors. The stairs are a bit narrow, so we have to tell the kids not to run too fast. We’ve got a mix of students from all over Kalol. Some are very quiet and others you can hear from the other side of the building. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every room is used for something. The staff room is where we keep all the extra books and the attendance registers. It’s usually a bit of a mess with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. The climate in Panchmahal means we have some very hot days, so we try to keep the classrooms as cool as possible with the old fans we have. We don't have any big slogans or decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students make in their art classes. It’s a real school where real work happens.
