Om Bricks Udhyog is situated in District Palwal, right on Hariyana Railway Station Road. Because we are so close to the railway station, we hear the trains whistling and rattling by all day and night. It’s a busy road, and it’s a good spot for us to be because everyone knows how to find the station. The brickyard is full of long rows of bricks stacked up to dry. In Haryana, the summers are really something else, and the heat from the sun combined with the heat from the brick kiln makes it a very hot place to work. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just wake up, check on the kiln, and start loading the trolleys. Sometimes the dust from the road and the yard gets into everything, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a lot of local workers who have been with us for years, and we all just get on with the job. People come from all over Palwal to order bricks for their shops or homes. We keep a ledger of all the sales and try to make sure we don't run out of stock when the building season is at its peak. It is just a regular brick business, nothing more and nothing less, and we are fine with that. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure the orders are filled correctly.
