Over here in Alawalpur, we’ve got a lot of families who have been working the land for generations. Jugore Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically just us getting organized. We are based out of house 1552, which belongs to Om Parkash, right on Katyal Marg. It’s a busy spot in Faridabad but we still keep that village feel. Managing a farm around here means dealing with a lot of changes in the area. We see the city growing closer, but our focus is still on what we can grow. Being a producer company means we can talk to buyers as a group. It’s simpler that way. Usually, someone is sitting at the house checking over some notes or talking about the latest crop cycle. We don't do anything too fancy. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure everyone in the group has what they need for the season. Some days are long, especially when it's time to harvest and get everything moved. We’ve all known each other for years, so it’s more like a big family than a business. The office is just a part of the house really. We handle the paperwork there and plan for the next few months. It's practical. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in our part of Palwal and Faridabad can keep doing what they do best without getting lost in the shuffle.
