Gulesara Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located over in Gulesra village, which is part of the Hathin and Hodal area near Faridabad. Sanaulla, the son of Habeeb Ahmed, is who we are with, and that’s where we do most of our organizing. It’s a rural spot, and we like it that way. We aren't some big business from the city; we are just farmers who have lived in Gulesra for a long time. The company was formed because we wanted a way to work together on the crops. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time talking about the rain than actually farming, but that’s just part of it. We deal with the usual stuff like seeds, tools, and trying to get a fair price when it’s time to sell. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun goes down. It gets pretty busy during the harvest, and things can get a bit messy with all the trucks and tractors moving around. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the farmers in our village can keep their farms going for the next generation. It’s hard, honest work, and we don’t expect it to be anything else. Most of us have known each other since we were kids, so there’s a lot of trust even when we disagree on things. We just try to keep the work moving.
