Our small setup is based in the Tonka area, near Hodal. We operate out of Rafeek’s place, who is the son of Najeer. Everyone around here knows the spot. We are just a group of local farmers who felt that joining up would make the work a bit lighter for everyone. In Tonka, we’ve always helped each other out, so making it official with a producer company wasn't a huge change, just more paperwork. The heat in Hodal can be pretty rough during the summer months, but we still have to get the work done. We spend most of our time dealing with the basics, like getting fertilizers or figuring out which crops will do better this year. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that here. It’s just a table, some chairs, and a lot of talk about the weather and the soil. We try to keep things simple and honest. Farming is a tough way to make a living, and we all know it. By working together under this company name, we hope to just keep our heads above water and maybe make things a little better for our families. We are just local people trying to do right by the land we’ve lived on our whole lives. It’s not always pretty, but it’s our life and we’re used to it. We keep our heads down and just keep moving.
