Anupam Public Sr. Sec. School

We are situated on Nanak Dairy Road in Hodal. It’s a local school through and through. You won’t find any big glass towers here, just a regular brick and mortar building where the kids gather every morning. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the trucks go by, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days managing classrooms and making sure the kids are actually studying instead of just staring out the window. It’s a lot of work and not always pretty. Sometimes the playground needs weeding or a window gets cracked during a cricket game. We just fix things when we can. The teachers are mostly folks from around here who know the families. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans taped to the walls. We just want the kids to pass their exams and learn how to be decent people. It’s a noisy, busy place from morning until the final bell rings in the afternoon. Then we tidy up, lock the gates, and head home. It’s just life in Hodal. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we don’t plan on changing much. It’s a simple, honest school for the local community. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows, but we just keep going. That's just how we run things on Nanak Dairy Road every single day.
