Nirmal Bricks & Blocks

Our yard is located right on the Trichy Main Road in Karanampettai, at the Sf-226/2 spot. It is a busy place because of all the traffic going past, which makes it easy for the trucks to find us. We handle both bricks and those solid cement blocks that everyone is using for houses these days. To be honest, it is exhausting work. My hands are usually covered in dust and grit by the time the sun goes down. We started this because we saw a lot of building going on nearby and thought we could help out. We do not have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just make sure the blocks are dry and ready before they get loaded onto the lorries. The weather is our biggest worry; if a storm rolls in, we have to scramble to cover everything up so the blocks don't get ruined. It is just a few of us working here, along with some local guys who have been with us for years. We know the neighborhood well and we know which builders are working on which sites. Word of mouth is how we get most of our business. If you pass by, you will see the piles of blocks stacked high. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, even if it is a bit messy and tiring most of the time. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders out as fast as we can.
