Sonu General Store

I've been running Sonu General Store here on Ramdev Road for a good while now. It started small. Most days I open up early because people around here need their milk and bread before heading to work. Ramdev Road gets pretty busy in the mornings. I mostly stock the usual things people forget they need until they run out. Things like soap, notebooks for the school kids, or spices for dinner. It's just me most of the time, though my cousin helps out when it gets crowded. The shelves are a bit crowded, but I know where everything is. If someone can't find something, they just ask. I try to keep enough stock so people don't have to walk all the way to the bigger markets. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we run out of things, but that's just how it goes. People in the neighborhood know me by name. We talk about the weather or the traffic on the road while I bag their stuff. It’s a simple shop. Nothing fancy, just a counter and some racks. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so this place feels like home. I spent a lot of time cleaning the glass jars yesterday. It’s hard to keep the dust away with the road right there. But we manage. It’s just a regular life here, selling things people use every day. It's not a big business but it keeps us going and we know the faces of everyone who comes through the door.
