Shree Salasar Kirana Store

Shree Salasar Kirana Store is our family business over at Shivaji Nagar C S 132. It’s basically a neighborhood grocery shop where we sell the usual things people need for their kitchens. We have sacks of flour, rice, different kinds of dals, and some spices. It’s a tight space because we try to fit a lot of inventory in there. You’ll see boxes stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. We open up pretty early in the morning so people can get what they need before they go to work. It’s usually me or one of my brothers behind the counter. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just walk in, ask for what they want, and we weigh it out for them. We’ve lived in Shivaji Nagar for years, so we know most of the people who come in. Sometimes they stay for a minute to talk about the weather or local news while we pack their bags. We try to keep our prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. It’s not an easy job, standing on your feet all day and lifting heavy bags, but it’s what we do. We like being part of the community here. It’s just a normal shop for normal people. We don't do anything special, just sell groceries and try to be helpful to our neighbors. The days are long, but seeing familiar faces makes it worth it. We hope to keep serving the area for many years.
