Sankhla Block Udhyog

Sankhla Block Udhyog is over in Ward No.19 in Sojat. We’re quite close to the Boys Senior Secondary School, so we hear the school bell and the kids shouting during their breaks. It’s a familiar part of our day. Being in Tehsil Sojat, things move at a steady pace. We work with blocks and other construction materials. Our yard isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. It’s a lot of concrete and heavy lifting. We start early to beat the heat, as Sojat can get really warm in the summer. Most of the time, we’re just busy mixing, pouring, or moving blocks around to dry. It’s a messy job, and our clothes usually show it by lunchtime. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People in the ward know where we are if they need something for a building project. We talk to the neighbors or parents who drop their kids off at the school sometimes. It’s a community thing. We’ve been here for a while and just keep doing what we know how to do. The work is hard on the hands, but it’s satisfying to see the blocks stacked up ready to go. There isn't much to it beyond that. Just a local business in Sojat trying to keep up with the local demand for building stuff. We are usually here from dawn until the sun goes down.
