Gehlot Building Materials

The yard is located right on Sardar Samand Road at number 32. It is a dusty place because of all the cement and sand we keep moving around. Most mornings start with the sound of a truck pulling in. We have been at this spot for a good while now and the gate always squeaks no matter how much we oil it. My clothes usually end up covered in white dust by noon. People come by looking for stuff to fix their houses or build something new. We have stacks of bricks and bags of plaster sitting out there. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the ground turns to mud, but we keep the supplies covered as best as we can. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things from one corner to the other. We don’t have a big office, just a small room where we keep the ledger and some chairs that have seen better days. It gets hot in the afternoons so we usually sit in the shade of the overhang. You can hear the traffic passing by on the main road all day long. It isn’t a glamorous job but it is what we do here. We know most of the people who stop by because they live nearby or work on sites around this area. It is just a regular yard for building materials and we try to keep enough stock for everyone.
