Rms Food Plaza

If you are driving on N H 14 towards Sumerpur Road, you might see our sign. We are a small food plaza where travelers can stop and take a break. Most people are tired from driving and just want a simple meal and some clean water. We have a decent sitting area with some fans. It is nothing like the big city malls, but it works for the highway. The menu has a bit of everything because people from different states pass through here. We have a few cooks who stay in the rooms behind the kitchen. They work in shifts because the highway never really sleeps. Truck drivers stop by late at night for heavy meals while families usually come in during the day. We try to keep the washrooms as clean as possible because that is what people care about most on long trips. The parking area is dusty but there is plenty of space for cars and even larger buses. We get our vegetables from the local farmers who bring them by in the morning. It helps us keep the food tasting like home cooking. We do not use a lot of heavy cream or butter like the fancy hotels. It is just straightforward food for hungry people. We have been here for a few years and the regular drivers know our faces now. It is a busy life out here on the road.
