Our school is tucked away in Ghanchiyo Ka Bas, right near Suraj Pole in the Pali-Marwar area. It’s a traditional part of town where the streets can be a bit narrow and crowded. You have to navigate through the local traffic to find us at number 32. This building has seen many students come and go over the years. We are right in the middle of the local life here, with shops and houses all around us. The sound of the city is always in the background, but once the kids are in their classrooms, things settle down a bit. We don't have a massive campus with fields, but we make use of the space we have. Most of the children who come here live in the nearby lanes, so they just walk over in small groups. The families here in Pali-Rajasthan are hardworking, and we try to keep the school running in a way that fits their lives. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical issues like old plumbing or the heat, but we just fix what we can and keep going. It’s a place where people look out for each other. You won't find any corporate talk here. We are just local people running a school for local kids. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the bikes and the pedestrians near Suraj Pole. That is just how life is in this part of Pali and we wouldn't have it any other way.
