Ramesh Kumar Chandan Kumar Sindhi

Our shop is right by the Ramleela Maidan area, number 41432. It’s a family thing, run by Ramesh and Chandan and the rest of us. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. You can usually find one of us sitting behind the counter or moving boxes around in the back. It’s a bit cluttered in here because we try to keep a lot of things in stock. People come to us for all sorts of stuff they need for their homes. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the squeaky door that we never seem to get around to oiling. We don't have a fancy website or a logo. The name on the board outside is just our names. That’s how people know us. During the festivals at the Maidan, it gets incredibly busy and noisy, but we like the energy. We talk to the neighbors, share some tea, and keep the business going. It’s not a corporate office. It’s a place where you can hear the street noise and see the dust in the air when the sun hits the window. We work long hours, starting early and closing when the street goes quiet. It’s just hard work and being present every day. We don't really have a philosophy other than just showing up and helping the customers who walk through the door. We hope to stay here for a while longer.
