Ramdev Fancy Store

Ramdev Fancy Store is located inside the Dhanlaxmi Market, right across from the SBBJ Bank in Sojat City. It is a pretty good spot because people come to do their banking and then they see our shop and stop in. The market itself can be a bit of a maze if you are not used to the narrow walkways. Our shop is packed with all the small things that women are looking for, like cosmetics, glass bangles, and hair clips. We have these old glass counters that have been here since my father was running the place. They have quite a few scratches on them from the years, but they still work fine for showing the goods. Sojat City gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so the shop stays very warm despite the fans. I usually keep a small personal fan right behind the counter to help stay cool while I work. People often come in just to get out of the sun for a few minutes while they look through the different colors of bangles. I try to keep everything organized by color and size, but that never seems to last very long once the evening rush starts. We do not do anything special with the displays. We just put things where they fit on the shelves. Sometimes we have to move heavy boxes around just so a customer has a place to sit down. It is a small space, but we make it work.
