Rajesh Provisson Store

Rajesh Provisson Store is located right on Station Road. Being so close to the station means it’s always busy with people coming and going. I open early in the morning because that’s when the first trains start moving and people need their daily supplies before they travel. We carry all the basics like rice, cooking oil, tea leaves, and biscuits. The shelves are packed tight because the shop isn't very wide at all. I have to use an old wooden ladder to reach the stuff on the top shelves. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when a big crowd comes in all at once from the station platform. I try to keep track of everything, but my ledger book is always a mess of scribbles and ink stains. It’s just how I’ve always worked. The floor gets dirty very quickly with all the foot traffic, so I’m always sweeping up dust and mud. I’ve been on Station Road for a long time now. I’ve seen the nearby buildings change, but the store stays pretty much the same as it was. People know they can get what they need here without any fuss or waiting around. It’s a tiring job, standing on my feet all day, but it’s what I know. We don't have fancy cooling, just a single ceiling fan that creaks. It’s a real place for real people. No matter how busy the road gets, the store is a steady spot.
